1) Unit is operation when the switch is on the x1 or x10.
2) Selecting the "Battery" position performs a quick battery check.
3) Discharge your body - touch grounded metal object. Meter may be grounded by connecting wire from the
Output/Ground connection to a known ground.
4) Point the meter towards the object to be measured, noting the distance between meter and object.
Observe the voltage reading.
